2023: Prof. Fei Sun was awarded the RGC Research Fellowship.

2022: Our study on "Directed Assembly of Genetically Engineered Eukaryotic Cells into Living Functional Materials" was published in Science Advances and featured in The Scientist.

2021: Prof. Sun received the National Natural Science Foundation of China Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau).

2020: Prof. Sun was appointed as the Director of the Center of Synthetic Biology and Engineered Protein Materials at the Research Institute of Tsinghua, Pearl River Delta.
